If ooVoo indicates that your friend is offline when you know that they are not, please follow these suggested steps:
- Restart your computer or mobile device. Ask your friend to do the same.
- Both parties must sign back into ooVoo.
- Have your friend click the drop-down menu next to their profile picture to confirm that their status is set to Online.
If this does not resolve the issue, you may have a broken Internet connection. A broken connection is indicated by a lightning bolt symbol over your ooVoo icon and your profile photo being grayed-out. ooVoo will automatically attempt to reconnect once the Internet connection is restored.
